Working Principle
When untreated water enters the reaction chamber, a large volume of air is drawn in by the PEI potential energy intake device. The air-water mixture is repeatedly sheared, producing numerous fine microbubbles.
In this three-phase system of water, gas, and particles, interfacial tension forms on the surfaces of different media. When microbubbles come into contact with suspended solids and colloids (mainly organic matter such as feed residues and excreta), they adsorb onto the bubbles due to surface tension.
As the microbubbles rise, the attached particles — now less dense than water — are carried upward. The skimmer uses buoyancy to accumulate these waste bubbles at the water’s surface, where they are continuously pushed into the foam collection tube and discharged, keeping the system clean and healthy.
